Coastal licence or boat application?
This order is for shore fishing. CAIB describes the individual recreational fishing licence as personal, non-transferable and valid for three years. The authority sets out particular rules for children and certain floating craft; these do not create general permission for every registered boat.
Use the separate boat order for our additional boat product. If you are only booking an occasional organised fishing trip, first ask its operator which licence is needed. This helps avoid preparing the wrong application prematurely.
Prepare complete personal details
For each person, you need names, date of birth, identity document number, address including country of residence, and contact details. Copy the information as it appears on the identity card or passport. The current form does not require a document-type selection.
For a family or group order, first select the number of people. An individual licence is created for each person ordered. Check children’s age requirements before ordering so you request only licences that are actually needed.
What our service costs
The coastal licence costs 65 euros per person on this website, including VAT. This is the price of our application service offer, not the government fee alone. Checkout shows the total for your number of people before completion.
A selected coastal express option adds 10 euros on working days or 15 euros at weekends, once per order. Available payment methods appear in the final step. With bank transfer, processing starts after confirmed receipt of funds, not simply after completing the form.
When and how the licence arrives
Delivery takes place within 24 hours on working days after full payment and verification of your details. You receive the official licence as a PDF by email. Your order link lets you return to your order; also check your spam folder if a message is missing.
After receipt, check personal details and the validity date. Selecting a language on our website does not translate the authority-issued document. Save the PDF on your phone and have identification available for an inspection.
Even with a licence, check the fishing location
Before fishing in Mallorca, check the rules for the exact coastal stretch. Marine reserves, bathing zones, harbours and time restrictions may impose additional limits. A valid licence does not establish permission to use an arbitrary beach or rock ledge.
Our Mallorca FAQs and minimum-size tables are the next starting point. Use the contact form for questions about your order. For uncertain local permissions, the responsible authority is the authoritative source.
Check before you go fishing
Information about the offer does not replace local checks of fishing methods, protected areas, minimum sizes and other catch rules.
